In addition to our Enrichment+ we are now excited to offer Enrichment++ . These unique, Christ-centered courses are designed to help students discover their gifts, develop a vision for their life and train them how to defend their faith. Our project-based, cross-curricular, multi-genre approach helps students to gain a well-rounded education that not only prepares them for college but for life. These interesting and fun-packed enrichment classes offer students the opportunity for hands-on learning and real-world application. Here at The Well, we don't just teach classes, we Engage, Equip & Inspire the leaders of tomorrow!
Morning Assembly and Devotion -We kick off our day with prayer, pledges, learning scripture, and worship! We also use this time to impart values and teach important social skills, such as loving one another and how to solve conflicts.
Arts- Students will learn about different artists as they create amazing masterpieces in this in-depth art class. Covers a multitude of mediums and genres, while focusing on skills such as brush strokes and drawing. Includes painting, drawing, oil pastels, watercolor as well as many other unique art styles.
Theater & Speech- Students will learn to overcome nervousness when speaking before an audience, organize and present ideas logically and convincingly, build character, and become confident speakers. Additionally, Students will learn to express themselves through music, dance and drama. They will increase their self-confidence as they become more comfortable on the stage.
STEM- This engaging course focuses on exploring topics in Applied Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math through hands-on exploration and discovery.
Physical Education- Students will exercise while learning how to be good shepherds of their bodies. Students will learn new skills through team cooperation and group sports
Missions & Cultural Geography- This course will highlight true stories from Christian history, exemplifying courage and a life dedicated to Christ (Richard Wurmbrand(Romania), Corrie ten Boom (WWII), Jim Elliot (Ecuador), etc. Students will see what God can do through a “Torchlighter” and will be challenged to carry their own torch while learning about the history of the Christian faith. Students will learn about countries and cultures across the globe through a Biblical Worldview and pray for the gospel to be spread through torch lighters/missions around the world.
Please note these classes are meant for Enrichment only and do not require any homework and we do not issue any grades, however optional home projects are offered in some courses.
